In order to avoid parallell documentation these documents are published on the swedish version of this page
GUS' governing documents regulate how the organisation functions. The most central of these documents include:
The Statues (stadga)
Simply put this is GUS' constitution. It regulates the core principles of the organisation and how the mandates are delegated among the member unions among other things. The statues must always be upheld. The board and the presidium must adhere to them.
The rules of work procedure (arbetsordning or uppdragsbeskriving)
This document is subordinate to the statues. They regulate and describe in further detail how the presidium and board should perform their duties. The board and presidium must adhere to the rules however, if necessary, exceptions can be made.
The operational plan (verksamhetsplan)
This documents lays out GUS' goals and priorities for the current operating year. One area is always a two year focus and can carriy over to the next operating year.
All of the documents are regularly inspected and kept up to date. So as to avoid instances of two different versions being published to this site, they are kept on the swedish version.
